I just realized that I have not posted since January
2nd. How time flies! A lot has happened:
- Survived the worst winter I've ever seen. I cringe every time I see snow now
- We did some remodeling inside the house. The outside is next; one day
- I graduated college (my last semester was a cake walk). I never aimed to graduate with any kind of honor but on the morning of graduation I found out I was graduating Cum Laude. I was emotionally surprised. Going to school with kids and a full-time job is very taxing on everything. And seeing that next to my name it dawned on me, “I guess I did pretty good!” Enough horn tooting; it was just a proud moment
- My mom came out to visit from California
- I changed jobs (same company – different office/dept. I’m a commuter now)
Now I’m
catching up on a bunch of loose ends. My
goals for this summer are:
- Finish all the books I've started in the last couple of years (finished one so far)
- Complete the baby blankets and the quilt I've started
- Clean out the office (started)
- Clean out the basement (started)
- Redo the flowerbed (started)
